I have 7 dogs but my house doesn't smell – my 'holy grail' of cleaning products and a gadget that makes a big difference | The Sun

A DOG owner has shared her hacks for keeping her home smelling fresh all the time.

The TikToker revealed the cleaning items she swears by, including her holy grail product.

In her video, TikTok user Tracy Fosterling (@tracyfosterling) revealed that she has seven dogs, including two foster puppies.

"Just because you have dogs doesn’t mean your house has to smell like dogs," she told her followers.

Tracy explained that she "extensively cleans" her home but it's her other hacks that rid her house of the dog odor.

"Let me talk about the holy grail of cleaning products, this is the KOE odor eliminator and it works wonders," she said.

A 16-ounce container of the cleaning solution is available for $25 from Amazon.

Tracy told viewers that the product is used in vet clinics, shelters, and groomers.

She explained: "If you just mix a tiny bit with water and spray it on surfaces, it will literally eliminate the odor not just mask it."

"It’s so affordable so if you’re one of those people who’s afraid your house smells like a dog, you need this I promise you, you will not regret it."

Tracy also recommended investing in an air purifier to remove pet dander from your home.

"I have an air purifier in one of my main rooms and the difference that it makes is incredible," she said.

She explained that she saw an instant improvement after she began using the item.

"It removes all of the hair and dirt out of the air, which causes the smell," Tracy told her followers.

She also advised her followers to use dog-friendly wax warmers in each room.

"The kennel odor eliminator really helps remove the smell but I want something that’s going to make the house smell fresh and nice and clean," she said.

Finally, Tracy suggested picking up some dog-friendly wall plug-ins as an "extra bonus."

Dog owners took to the comments section to share their own hacks for keeping their homes smelling fresh.

"I cover my dog beds with cotton crib sheets and that helps so much," wrote one viewer.
